We experienced an incredible time! Amethyst Dunes was an ideal little house for our little family from Oklahoma. The location within the beach was well worth it!

The views and beach was Definitely beautiful. The wander on the beach is what I loved the most. The house alone is just not in good shape. It is actually aged and very outdated. The furnishings was not comfortable in any respect rather than good with small kids because of the very pointy edges, the mattresses need to be thrown out and new ones introduced in. You could feel the springs when laying on them.

It wasn't dirty, it had been well stored, and once more the location was excellent. It could really advantage from a dishwasher when they remodel the kitchen area. The fridge was terrific, no challenges (I'd observed concerns noted in other reviews). Matthew Posted: five/10/2024

three This residence is in decline. If you prefer easy usage of the beach, but Really don't mind an aged Purple Roof Inn feel, that is what you'll get here.

I loved that there had been two bedrooms with king size beds. That is SO perfect for adults who would like to travel alongside one another. But unfortunately unless some improvements are made to this home, I would not lease it once more or suggest it to a buddy.

The residence is as advertised - nothing extravagant on the house but wonderful location around the beach. No, the house is not full of your latest and best furnishings, but had plenty of room for our family of four, was clean, and experienced everything we needed. I actually appreciated that there was not loads of decorations/other "stuff" that our two small kids could potentially break or destroy.

I did love you had 2 king beds that was nice. The coffee table was broken, two with the three plastic chairs outside were broken. The house really could use a good power washing and that would make an enormous improvement to your deck. The house has so much potential it's unhappy to find out it getting operate down. I Definitely loved the area, but if improvements are not made would not rent house again. Absolutely suggest browsing Port St Joe if you have not !!
